The beginning experimental stages of printing on wood.
Will be for sale in the future when the process is perfected! Excited<3!

Short video portrait
Shot this a couple of months ago when a friend from North Carolina named Benjamin came to New York City to visit. Quite an interesting fellow! Love all his quirkiness.
Enjoy!

Sun-days, ahhh. As winter starts to approach & I realize how I’m still not back in New York I have been appreciating all the sunny things in my day to day life that put me right in my happy place :). Here is a small compilation of places and things that I have been lucky enough to surround myself with.
All of you that are starting to feel the shift in weather, apprecaite the wamth while you can!

This shoot: 2 different locations and lots of experimenting.
Shooting inside a pool vs. the ocean is quite different. The ocean is an uncontrolable force and you never know what will pop up into your photos when you least expect it. ..Who knows…maybe my next shoot a giant whale shark will appear ?? ::wishfull thinking::
Was lucky enough to spot the very rare, endangered, and indigenous to Hawaiian Islands Monk Seal! Only about ten to 12 seal pups are born on the island every year.

You can see how rocky the topography in Hawaii is in this photo. These cracks were created by lava!

In early June I was visiting Kauai (the oldest and least populated of the Hawaiian Islands) and was lucky enough to dive off of Niʻihau which is 17 miles off the west coast of Kauai with Sea Sport Diver. Niʻihau is Kauai’s neighbor island also known as the “Forbidden Island” which is privately owned, has 250 residents that are mostly of Hawaiian descent, has no roads, hotels, electricity, or restaurants. So one can imagine how epicly untouched the diving is off of Niʻihau! Besides the impressive 680 species of fish which 24% of them are endemic to Hawaii I also found the topography off of Niʻihau particularly interesting as it consisted mainly of lava ridges, archways, caves and pinnacles formed by molten lava that has turned into coral reefs over centuries of erosion. I cant wait to one day return to Hawaii and explore the other islands treasures both underwater and on land!!! Its definitely on my to do list :).

Ohhh FINALLY! I havent done an underwater shoot in AGES it seems….Here are some photos that I shot of my friend Lorena. It was her first time ever shooting underwater and I have to say she did such a GREAT job. Modeling underwater isn’t the easiest task to say the least:)
Next step: shooting my friend Iris in the ocean tomorrow!
P.S: Much thanks at the shoot to Lorenas two cuties; her boyfriend Gino and her adoraaaaableeeeeeee son (below)

With the copious amount of photos I took in Hawaii, I think I have about two more posts of photos to update with on this blog. I am most excited about the scuba diving photos I took off of Niihau (the forbidden island) because of how surprisingly unique the oceanography layout is. I was supposed to be back in Florida right now but now am staying in Bonaire for a little bit longer for some projects:) I love being a nomad at the moment<3

Memory Post of my first “fashion” (more just like human + underwater shoot) I ever did back in the day when I attended Brooks Institute of Photography . I’m choosing to put these photos up because today I did an underwater shoot here on Bonaire with one of my friends Lorena from Colombia (aw yeahhh) and will continue to be posting more of these types of photos considering I will finally be consistantly in an area with lots of bodies of water ..like ocean/pool, unlike New York City!
Enjoy:)
Since i’ve been back on Bonaire, i’m happy to say that not much has changed on the island. Many roads are still not paved, donkeys and goats still roam the streets, and people (like me) are still spotted barefoot all over the island. However, once reconnecting with my friends here on the island I came to find out that my dear friend Robert Croes got a new home ….thats………pretty freaking beautiful! Definitley not something you see very often on this island, so figured its totally worth showing off to you guys :D

Photo dump #2 from Bonaire! The weather has been hot and the water has been nothing but perfect to dive deep into and cool off in!
I cant wait to tell you guys about the projects I have coming up here on the island. Bonaire sure is special<3
